Its a valid pointy though - if Feli and Baines got to Unt for a cheap deal - then it may be Barkley & Coleman next season - it has to stop BK Rooney went too cheap - Spurs have the right idea if you want a player you pay our price not your pathetic offer!

evertonions love overrating their players. Why would we want coleman?

Speaking with a couple of man u fans who are good mates last night over a beer or 2.

Both been season ticket holders at OT since the 70's, both in their 50's so not dickheads like this clueless blurt appears to come across, one of them goes every away european away game and has done for many a moon and every pre-season tour, just returned from Thailand and Australia in the last few weeks, you get the picture!

They were both resoundingly of the opinion that Moyes comments about the players "furthering their careers" was an embarrassment to Man U and made him look a complete whopper.

They were also both of the opinion that the bid was silly, and the players valuations were made a mockery of by the bid.

I appreciate that every club has it's fools, who think they know everything, so it's nice to hear when you think you know what is right being looked at in the same way by sensible people that you respect and know what is right and what is wrong.

Let's be realistic, I think 99% of all Evertonians know that if Man U bid the right money both players are probably gone. However it seems Moyes is trying to make himself look like a big time Charlie in the media, but actually having the opposite effect and making himself look silly. His disrespectful comments will hopefully come back to haunt him and when he falls back down the ladder he will end up regretting these stupid comments.

Never ever had any real hate for man u, football doesn't really get me that way anymore. However, watching him fail after this would certainly give me a warm happiness that I get when a bully gets their comeuppance!

Come on Chelsea, tear him a new a hole tonight in front of his own home crowd.

Some Media reports recon DM comments have upset our club that much he will have to pay top whack or look elsewhere - DM has a lot to learn , but what worries me ids BK can easily do a U turn!!!!

By and large I find talking to match going Mancs alright. Only a daft few, like all clubs, and the tele whoppers who haven't got a clue.

bought time! hope we stick to that! They should be paying top whack now anyway, last week of the window and all that.

It would have been great to be in a position like spurs who done their business before selling bale, that way noone is out to make you pay top whack.

If we go to any clubs this week for players with £40M in our ar5e pocket were gonna pay over the odds as well unfortunately

One I work with is quite clued up and on the ball got it spot on. Echo'd the sentiments that Arsenal fan on skysports said after they lost to Villa and bid for Cabaye. Had Man U come in right at the start of July, activated Fellaini's release clause and had the whole thing done in time for pre-season, he would have thought it was a decent bit of business, a bit skeptical about the price, but proven prem player in an area they need reinforcement. Now Moyes is looking desperate and making United look amateur and he just can't understand the logic of the whole thing.

I think the media have gone very easy on Moyes so far with this debacle because he's had a decent start with the community shield and Swansea last week. However, if they lose tonight and start faltering through September this, on top of the way those ridiculous Fabregas bids went and how Mourinho is playing him with Rooney, is really going to come back to haunt him and give validity to everyone who's claiming he's out of his depth.
