Everton confirm rejecting 28M for both Fellaini and baines

Speaking with a couple of man u fans who are good mates last night over a beer or 2.

Both been season ticket holders at OT since the 70's, both in their 50's so not dickheads like this clueless blurt appears to come across, one of them goes every away european away game and has done for many a moon and every pre-season tour, just returned from Thailand and Australia in the last few weeks, you get the picture!

They were both resoundingly of the opinion that Moyes comments about the players "furthering their careers" was an embarrassment to Man U and made him look a complete whopper.

They were also both of the opinion that the bid was silly, and the players valuations were made a mockery of by the bid.

I appreciate that every club has it's fools, who think they know everything, so it's nice to hear when you think you know what is right being looked at in the same way by sensible people that you respect and know what is right and what is wrong.

Let's be realistic, I think 99% of all Evertonians know that if Man U bid the right money both players are probably gone. However it seems Moyes is trying to make himself look like a big time Charlie in the media, but actually having the opposite effect and making himself look silly. His disrespectful comments will hopefully come back to haunt him and when he falls back down the ladder he will end up regretting these stupid comments.

Never ever had any real hate for man u, football doesn't really get me that way anymore. However, watching him fail after this would certainly give me a warm happiness that I get when a bully gets their comeuppance!

Come on Chelsea, tear him a new a hole tonight in front of his own home crowd.

My sentiments and experience entirely, generally enjoy a footie natter with the genuine, more mature Utd fans who typically hold us in high regard.

Over the years we became more aware of Moyes' uber-ego, he has gone too far this time ginger bitch no-mark.

Power has gone to Moyes head. Last week he was luck to win at Swansea. Granted it was 4-1 but Van Persie won that match on his own. I don't understand Moyes at all. He stays at Everton for 11 years and were great to him, pay him a fortune and put up with all the contract **** twice. Didn't sack him after getting hammered in Europe and terrible starts to the season. Then he turns around and says "I'll sign a new contract at the end of the season" then fuks off to Man U for free (Personally I think he knew he was getting the Man U job at the start of last season.) Then instead of thinking you know what I'll do my old club a favour a pay a bit over the asking price(which he know what it is) he comes in with not 1 but 2 stupid bids, which get turn down instantly. So instead of offering more he throws his toys out the pram and cries to the media.

Seriously Moyes I said when you left I'd have you back tomoz, now I wouldn't have you as our manager if we were in the 4th tier

felli has 'the red devils' on his twitter page..always has,a few manks fought he was signed because of that,so fell put next to it recently in brackets ( Belgium national team).. just fought i put that there.

Thanks for that! Funny he's reacted to it now like, peeps have frequently made that mistake, maybe he's deffo not going there...

Some Media reports recon DM comments have upset our club that much he will have to pay top whack or look elsewhere - DM has a lot to learn , but what worries me ids BK can easily do a U turn!!!!

Top whack?

That implies he was getting them at a discount because Billy Liar phones him up every week.

Yes , Moyes had the opportunity to sign Fellaini and it would have been seen as good solid business by Utd supporters. Now,he will basically end up paying the same amount and it will look like a panic buy.
At this stage Moyes needs a spectacular signing to gain some credibility and with the whispering about Gareth Bale maybe he is trying to get in on that deal . He could immediately gat at least half of it back by selling Rooney. If it blows up in his face however it make him look very 2nd rate.

moist is defo becoming more of a bell with every passing day.

Moyes in programme: "I've been looking forward to this ever since Sir Alex told me I would be the new Man Utd manager at the end of April."

Noticed that too, in the last couple of weeks he updated his twitter bio and added (Belgium national team) next to red devils which he had since opening twitter

Forget about his bids for Baines and Fellaini, ever since he moved there, he has been acting like an 8 year old kid "youpi i got Man Utd Job, youpi i got Man Utd Job, youpi i got Man Utd Job,youpi i got Man Utd Job"

Someone should tell him to man it up

Moyes was a great manager for us, but whether he will be a great manager for them is a completely different issue.

Howard Kendall first time round was a "great" manager for us. Harry Catterick was a "great" manager for us! David Moyes proved himself to be a good manager for us, but great he wasn't. It is amazing though how he could manage and supposedly stand up for this club for 11 years and earn the respect of most of us on here, then in the space of a couple of months lose it all with some of the absolute garbage that he has recently!

I for one now hope he ruins the football club he is at currently, then if he's lucky ends up as Scotland manager at best!
