How does it? Goes back in for a young player with bags of potential who he has worked with before and knows him?

Sorry I forgot its all about the fume with some people, oh by the way people totally wrote Gibson off when he signed, just saying.

So you think he's worth it?!

Coming in these everton forums is like going to your kebab shop on a Saturday night, I only go in for a scrap.

Who wants it?

Because if nobody wants to meet that valuation you're not going to sell him ? Not rocket science.

Fellaini is currently our most valuable player, and his value will only decrease as his contract runs down and he gets older. If Martinez thinks it makes sense to sell the player for £20m and use that money to invest in the squad then that's the sensible thing to do.

Moyes knows obviously we are desperate to sell Fellaini this summer. So the fact he is offering way below his vaulation is shiitehawk tactics on his behalf. However that is another argument.

If the 20 million is true then it is way below his valuation in the current market. Still no point getting too worked up about it until we know the figures involved.

I'd say it's partly because (and I do like Martinez, for the most part) it'd be nice to see our new manager's knowledge of transfer dealings stretched a bit further than fkn Wigan.

Plus Dave Whelan is a deluded old prick, but we'll end up making him feel like all his christmasses have come at once by actually meeting his absurd asking price.

hasnt he got 3 years left? usually value only starts plummeting inside the final 12-18 months of a contract, plus gets older hes 25 ffs and a central part of a Belgium squad that looks set to do something special at the world cup, so the basis of why his value will go down is well wrong

Next Summer he'd have two years left on his contract, which means we would have to look to sell him then to avoid a price drop. That already puts the potential buyers in a stronger position.

we better get more than lescott, i'd be unhappy with anything under 25 mill, but i will be interested to see what martinez does with money, at least gives him a chance to create his own team
