Bye Felli thanks for the memories - remember which club turned you into the quality player you are now.

**** you Moyes, completely classless against the club who got you the biggest job in world football.

Dont worry mate. He'll get his comeuppance....and it'll be a long way down for him.

if we sell now we will end up with worse calibre of player. id rather keep waht he have and try to add to it
That is not acceptable as we don't have anyone to do a job right now, we would be left with Barkley, Osman and Gibson, Gibson is a sicknote, barkley is young, Osman is getting on, that why we will be force to get James McCarthy in.

Fellaini for 25mil is a fair price I think all said and done. He's neither been a defensive midfielder for us, a playmaker or an attacking midfielder.

If Barkley is going to be the attacking midfielder then we need a playmaker and defensive midfielder behind him and this money would allow us to go in for 2 top young players....totally revamping central midfield.

To be honest though I'm in the minority who would take 15mil for Baines as well due to his age. Oviedo would be a natural replacement and we'd have 40mil then for Martinez to transform the side.

Saying that, his signings so far have been poor in my opinion.

Baines is 28 not 31, £15m for arguably one of the best left backs around is cheap. The lad's in his prime.

United are paying 23.5 his release clause not 25m, thats a rip off

No, but its our fault we haven't invested much of the extra income like the rest of the Premier League have done.

Yeh of course mate, they cant get away with that, but a lot of people knew or should of known that we'd depend on Player sales to get others in, Moyes certainly knew that, but here he is, 48hrs before the window shuts FINALLY meeting our valuation of Fellaini.

Victor Moses to the RS for a mere million quid on loan.

Shows simply how bad our finances are.

Lol at.. we "had" 9m for Leroy Fer in January.

Summer comes round and every team benefits from additional 20 or so million from tv deal.

We sign the pathetic Arouna Kone for 5m and the Spanish keeper for about 1.5m and now we have no money for anything at all.

It really just does not add up.

Sickening.

Watching yesterday's game I came to the conclusion that we should snap the hand of united if they offer anywhere close to 25 for felli. As a defensive midfielder I just don't think he is all that good...he's not overly quick, or a tough tackler. His passing is just ok...sideways or backwards most of the time. Where he is effective is as a target man..able to control long balls and start play in the final third...as we obviously ain't gonna play like that under Roberto I think we are better getting rid. I actually think McCarthy would be a better option In a defensive role...quicker, more energy, more urgency. And at united...unless he plays him in an advanced role, I don't think it will work...and when it doesn't it will be the first nail in David's coffin!

Atleast your honest that he's **** and limited unlike many evertonians who say he's better than carrick which is ****ing hilarious.

gutted were signing everton players.

TBH with better coaching and management than Moyes could manage his footballing progress should have been at a much more advanced stage than it is now. Similarly Rodwell, Barkley and Coleman.

A million plus his wages with no buy on clause which his wages are around 3.6 million a season, so he will cost 4.5 for around 1 season and the rs were in for him, so he would have chose the rs before us anyway. This loan deal wouldn't have been the answer to our problems.

Worse calibre maybe.... But a player better suited than fellaini to RM style of play and tactics very possibly!

It's loosing Baines that's gonna break my heart! Lets hope we can stand firm on him and keep him here.

Utter madness. We've moved him constantly due to our lack of depth in midfield - he's only playing DM at the moment due to Gibson's absence. With everyone fit, he'd be playing CM instead of Osman. Selling Felli for £25m might be an accurate reflection of his TRUE value, but it would ignore the fact that we have 24 hours to sign a replacement, it would fail to take full advantage of United's desperation, it does not reflect the fact that he would walk into United's CM berth and instantly improve their first XI, and it does not reflect his true value to US. If he goes now, he must only go for BIG money. Look at the Bale situation - Spurs aren't saying "Now now, £80m? He's only worth £30m, that will be plenty.", are they? No, they're holding out for every last penny they can get. FFS.

There is an argument that Baines is at his peak in terms of transfer value now, and I agree with that. However, once again, you are ignoring the true value he holds in THIS team. He is worth FAR more than £15m to us, and it would cost more than £15m to replace every facet of his play - penalty taker, free kick taker, leading assists man, top 3 LB: so if anyone wants him they should be paying through the nose for him. And at this late stage in the window too? £25m at least, or we keep him and get four more years out of the best LB in the prem.

Too early to judge the new signings, particularly when you consider they have barely played. I think we are still going on predictions here, rather than evidence of performance in an Everton shirt. Having said that, I share your fear - with the exception of Deulofeu, who I suspect will be a top, top player in years to come.
