Yeah but that ship sailed ages ago. It might have even sailed before the city game kicks off.

The very worst case scenario involves them needing to win at st marys and us losing at hull in order for them to catch us, can you really see that ever happening?

We need to lose our games, they need to win theirs :) Its looking doubtfull.
Doubt many would of thought we'd be 9 points ahead (albeit minus a game) with 2 to play .. err lollollollollol

Or in a perverse way, we'll lose to city who'll then drop points at home to Villa or West Ham. Either way yesterday was great, but those dogs will still find a way to win it. The gods/authorities will make sure mr slippery lifts that title.
Whats Gerrards fave Bon Jovi album? Slippery when wet

...I appreciate the ideal scenario is wins for us and Palace, but I would have to join Mikey in the gym from Saturday to Monday night as it would be unbearable. Today has been pleasant, all the deluded reds have retreated into their shells. I want it to be over as soon as possible and in City's favour. There, I said it.

Their collapse has been a delightful surprise, though some of the gloss is taken off it by who's replaced them.

Wished I'd put on that bet on us finishing above them I said that I would when Moyes got the job, now. Truth is I thought even Davey boy would get them top 3. Been astonishing how quick they've fallen.

Do you reckon getting rid of him will see them finish the season strongly mate?

Honest question. I don't think them beating Norwich was that impressive as he media is making out.

Got to be honest, i hope we finish 7th and dont have the hassle Europa. Afterall if its fine to want us to lose against city, is it ok if I want us to lose against Hull?

Nah. Giggs will be an improvement no doubt, no-one was playing for Moyes, but he's still more a sherwood than a ferguson.

Their real tests left are southampton away and sunderland at home. The Norwich result probably would have been the same even with Moyes in charge, they scored 4 past newcastle the other week too.

I do, couple of games to prove their worth come the transfer window, for either prospective clubs or the new manager will see them raise their game imo.

I love the Europa, by the way, please don't confuse my dismissiveness of any chance of spurs and utd both catching us with a lack of enthusiasm for qualifying for it.

Being in europe would be great and a great boost for this club and I don't get the numerous fans of ours who'd rather swerve it.
