Sir your first sentence here doesn't suggest you're here to do anything other than wind people up.
...I don't want the reds to win the title, I really, really don't. Where I had no hope on Sunday morning, I have hope now. Being honest, I don't want that situation to change come Saturday evening.
Boddingtons! lol
COME ON CITY!hi guys city fan here in peace, hope you dont mind me dropping in unannounced, fascinating thread we were in a very similar situation to you around 92 when if we beat leeds it would have virtually handed the title to united, we did win that game 4-1 however united blew it on the last day, i wanted us to lose and remember getting back to the pub after the game thinking wtf have we done its really not a nice feeling, anyway on to sat and i must admit i'm not looking forward to this one, being from the older generation of fans i cant lose that city self destruction tag that we had, it could go either way on the day but im sure it will be a cracking game,i can see me locking myself in the garden shed for the 90 minutes then having a peep on flash scores, enjoy the rest of the season chaps and if you dont make the CL im sure you will next season
Don't be daft lad, the only way City will win is if we let them, which we are going to.I think we have to also remember that Man City might actually want to win this game as well given the circumstances.

But the thing is a lot of the people that want City to win are from Liverpool, it's not only the "outsiders".Don't see the problem really. I suspect most people acting really appalled at the idea of wanting City to win don't live in the city itself. It will be horrible living in the city for the next year with those cretins being able to call themselves champions.
If we were still fighting for fourth I'd have no decision to make -- I'd want us to win 100%. But a point against Hull will get us Europa league, and there is no chance we can move up the table, so why the hell would I want us to get a near-meaningless 3 points if it meant handing them the title?

Plus I live in Glasgow and see full-kit [Poor language removed] nearly every day ffs!
I hope our players get told to do the right thingI do worry about our ability to choke for this match. I hope none of the players have this weird sense of pride about maintaining a fantastic home record and beating yet another team above us at home.
Bloody vainglorious if you ask me.
