It is individuals like @Kopite96 that make me want City to beat us - and I am sure there are similar people who happen to support Everton too.

I really do not like Liverpool, however the place I would not go to make a point would be RAWK. I did once have a browse there though and struggled to decipher much meaningful conversation between the 'YNWA' 'JFT' and 'We Go Again'. It was a bit like a cult. There wasn't as wide a range of conversation there either, it was a bit like a North Korean president was pulling the delicate strings of moderation.

I had a look one time and there was a thread listing "approved" media sources and one wasn't allowed to leave links to any other source.

It is a weird place.

Gonna be a woeful atmosphere at Goodison when the realisation dawns for those thick enough to not already comprehend the consequences of us taking any points tomorrow, should we not lose.

RAWK makes my eyes bleed, and after reading a few postings, I subconsciously start to feel the urge to do serious harm to my person...

Some of the more righteous posters who are accusing others of being 'Liverpool obsessed' are missing the wider point.

Them winning the title boosts their worldwide profile tenfold and marginalises EFC even further as the perceived 2nd club in the city, further reducing our chances of proper investment, attracting better players, etc.

This is about the effect on EVERTON and our future, and not just about rivalry.

This is why it is not wrong to prefer a City win. Bigger picture.

Yes, a good point, but I still want us to win.

Wouldn't it be horrible we got beat and Crystal palace won. Well, not exactly horrible, but a Palace win
almost certainly stuffs them, regardless. I can't see City losing their last two, nor Chelsea.

yaaay, Nazi jokes...and ones about the deaths of ethnic peoples too. Well played :locked:

Eh? What's this about?

Unreal this. I'm a kopite because I want Everton to win. You're an Evertonian because you want us to lose.

Stark raving mad. Insane madness.

The worst of it is this:

You seem utterly convinced a Man City win will mean the RS don't win the league.

It's beyond crazy...there's no earthly words that anyone can put to you that this isn't the case.

And I'm the one told to behave lol It's incredible, really.

Do you think that if City beat us that there's a real chance that they'll drop points in their last two?

If they do win, go and check the odds on Sunday morning, or even Monday night if Liverpool win.

No I do not think they will drop points in their last 2 games - Palace looked lack lustre v city and Newcastle at home will be an easy game as they concede in threes - the same applies to City they will win their last 2 at home the crunch game , and on paper the hardest is us away on Saturday -
If they play above themselves they should do it, The crowd at Goodison will be not the roaring crowd it would have been if 4th place was easily attainable with a win for us - so they have that in their favour , but its up to them to play like champions!
What ever happens it will be a joyous ending of our home fixtures and a nice celebration of our first season under RM with record points in the prem!

Really not arsed about Europe - the europa league? The neutral fan doesnt even watch it, Thursday/Sunday games... No ta.

If it was a straight knock out and done on wednesdays the great - too resource sapping.
