As much as I would hate to see that lot win anything the most important thing is Everton finishing as high as possible, 4th all day.

See, posts like these are the true ptoblem. You're too busy worrying about what a PR disaster it will be if we dare appear 'bitter'. Already cowed us into collectively acting like we want them to do well, albeit through gritted teeth, if only to appease their militant hypocrisy.

I really don't care about appearing 'bitter'. I'm not ashamed to say there's a whole lot of things I'd rather see than Gerrard lifting the trophy. F*** that.

The thing about Liverpool, it's not even the actual players or manager I dislike, it's just the fans. They are a strange bunch.

Anyone reading this thread should check out the poll results for context. Vast majority are pro-Everton than anti-Sh!te

I understand, no one wants to see their nearest rivals win the league but FFS some people need to give their heads a wobble

I'd love you to be right, then I'd not be worried about our game.

Now don't get me wrong I'll be at Goodison for theCity game and I'd be absolutely delighted if we win, I@m sure Goodison will be bouncing, but then I'll get home check the table and in the cold hard light of day see Liverpool peeking over the top of the ridge, a handful of games away from a first league title in almost as long as us. I just can't countenance such a thought.
