With 5 wins from 5 we will pip City to 3rd IMO. That would be massive for us, and I want what is best for Everton.

Exactly plus Sunderland WILL beat City and we WILL beat Palace and be a point behind them, so the thread should be can we beat City and finish 3rd?

Exactly. Chelsea beat Liverpool and City win all their remaining games and city are 1st.

But even if they don't, if Chelsea beat Liverpool and Chelsea win all their remaining games, no matter what city do, chelsea are still ahead of liverpool

Only way us vs city will hand the rs the title is if chelsea beat liverpool but stumble in their other games vs cardiff, sunderland and norwich, which is unlikely.

Four wins for Chelsea and 5 wins for Everton and we're in the Cl and Liverpool have won no trophies. Do me, that.

If Chelsea win their remaining 4 games they will finish above liverpool and if that happens, whatever we do vs city only matters as to whether city or chelsea wins the league, the rs won't get it either way.

So the city hypothetical where we could either win or lose the league for the rs looks off unless that match is a draw.

Pretty close one tbh, but like I say chelsea will beat them
