It's possible we might hear a chorus of "we're / your gonna win the league" all around Goodison next week, if we don't play too well.

You're from down south it's not the same.

All depends on the Arsenal result tomorrow, Newcastle win, and [Poor language removed] them. I want 4th, if they win, well, not gonna do us any harm is it?

Bit harsh that. My dad is a Liverpool fan though and in some ways it's worse down here cause they all give it large and never watch them.

I'm an everton fan what's wrong wanting us to win...

Norwich away with them fighting relegation is hardly an easy game. They deserved a point from the Liverpool match, and they've got to win sooner or later.
Norwich might well already be relegated regardless of their last game. We (i.e. Evertonians) hope that is not the case (though I fear it will be)

There's nothing wrong with wanting us to win; it's just that on this occasion that's akin to wanting Liverpool to win.

Different shades of grey in this. I can understand people wanting an Everton win if it meant CL football, but not in a meaningless game that would do nothing but hand that lot the title.

Martinez will probably bring Hibbert on for his Goodison goodbye, and he'll score an equaliser in the 97th minute. ffs.

You know what ? What an absolute [Poor language removed] joke these past few games have been. Palace turn up at Goodison and produce multiple finishes from the very top drawer. Today they look like Ian Holloway's team.

On one hand I'm made up the league is out of Liverpool's hands.

On the other hand - yay money wins the league. Nothing to be happy about at all, watching the likes of City buy the league as we scrimp and save our way to a Europa spot.

Who cares lid. We're not gonna win the league any time soon so might as well cheer for City every year. It means nothing to their players anyway. Come on Citeh.
