If we finish 5th then there's no play off game at all unless Hull win the FA Cup.

Not according to the Yorkshire Post. If Arsenal win the cup and finish 4th, Hull get the FA Cup's Europa place.

Although Hull could also qualify if the Gunners finish in the top four of the Premier League to clinch a Champions League place, Elmohamady is adamant that the Yorkshire club do not want to go via the back-door route.

Us finishing in 5th would then be in the play offs. There has never previously been an instance of the 5th place team finishing in a Europa place and going straight to the group stage. They have always gone through a 2-legged play off game.

I'd rather finish 5th and Liverpool win the league than 6th and someone else win it.
WTF? Don't you want to see the faces on those RS fans after singing 'we're gonna win the league' a few weeks ago, see gerrard never lift the title, even love when utd fans sing 'shinji 1 gerrard 0'

The more I think of it the more I want us to beat City. NEA if it gifts them the league, we will look so classy. Their will be people and fans thinking we will throw it or at least our fans will be happy to lose it, we should show what being Everton is. Some of the comments from Liverpool fans about ours, they act as though because they have seen one Evertonian tweet or message on here say they wouldn't mind losing they think it is each and every one of us

From the Premier League Website:

In the event the FA Cup winners are qualified for the UEFA Champions League the FA Cup runners-up will qualify, but in the place reserved for the lowest ranking Barclays Premier League representative. The place with direct access to the Group Stage will be given to the club that finishes in the highest position in the Barclays Premier League of the clubs qualifying for the UEFA Europa League.

Nope.

Hull get in the Europa but they are given the lowest priority, it's only the winners who get straight into the group stages.

Okay, I was wrong. Fair enough.
