AS SAID BEFORE,If arsenal win tomorrow or not,i still want Everton to win every game.dont care who it helps, how anyone can want there own team to lose if it helps there neighbours or not i will never get.-I SUPPORT ONE TEAM ONLY AND ONE TEAM EVER EVERTON

I'm with you mate.

But I totally understand the other view.

Does anyone recall the Liverpool vs Blackburn game in May 1995, when Liverpool fans were ACTIVELY cheering for Blackburn during the game, because if Blackburn got a result, it meant Blackburn would win the league and not Man Utd?

Liverpool fans themselves have been in this position before and backed the opposition, so don't let any of their fans lecture us on supposed 'Bad Blues' and 'Support your team'.

Look at this video - 32 seconds in - Blackburn go 1-0 up vs Liverpool, Shearer scores - you CLEARLY see LFC fans in red shirts jump up and start celebrating next to the Blackburn fans. Unbelievable!

Cheese on Toast option:
Get beat by City & Hull, we swerve Europa to Spurs, Liverpool lose the league, Alan Hanson leaves MOTD in tears & replaced by Big Nev, get rid of Lukaku because we can't make a decision on him, then next season, Bobby buys the next Pele, do what Liverpool have done & finish 2nd & guarantee Champions League.

For the record, I don't for a second think any blue will celebrate a City goal outright - but inside, I'll be pretty bloody happy, especially if Arsenal win tomorrow.

If Newcastle win, different story. My mindset about this changed when City bottled it to Sunderland, so I won't be actively wanting to do City a favour, but if the game is a dead rubber and the only difference is 5th or 6th... no brainer for me.

spot on

Whilst I am ultimately confident we will get at least a draw at Hull, should United and Spurs win on Saturday, I might not be able to cheer a city win. The possibility of getting Europe is more important than the RS

If Spurs lose or united draw I will buy a city top!!

They had the league won for months in their heads, the arrogant nature of celebrating in Concert Sq, they have shirts printed up already plus fans selling tickets to Newcastle game for thousands.

For those reasons alone, City win.

If Arsenal win Monday, I don't think we can catch them so why risk a [Poor language removed] summer of "Kopites" rubbing it in.

I was out in town last night and they were unbareable, I spoke to a few as well and there wasn't a scouse accent to be heard. All from Pompey and Stoke! They didn't enjoy my pointing that out. I think like many if Arsenal win tomorrow I am alright getting beat by City. I just can't cope with it for the next five years.

we all have our opinions, perhaps you don't hate them as much
dont care about them, care about everton,if a win for us happens, and it goes towards helping them,so be it thats just footy, they wont have won it because we might win one game,as said before there not certain to beat palace/toon-chelsea could still win it-who know's.

By the by, thinking about it, I think another factor comes in - the world cup.

A risk to reward ratio comes into it. Will Lukaku put his foot in to prevent a clearance if it meant his shin could be snapped and he's out for the tournament? Doubt it. Whereas I think the City players will go for it full on.

WHY-whats your problem
You're entitled to say and feel what you like

Personally I would have thrown in the towel if it stopped them from winning the league champions league or not and that's not changed we're bitter and I'm proud of it

Your issues are you are quite happy for them to win the league, living and working with them since they beat spurs has been unbearable so either you don't live in the city or you have no dealings with them in your private life

But like I said you're entitled to want what you want for me it's come on city! Next week

not certain to win those games but think it's fair to say they will given their form before today
