Want us to win. 4th wont be mathematically over by kick off, hugely unlikely yes but while theres a chance we give it a go. Desperate for the RS not to win the league but I'm a blue first and foremost. City winning it while taking the piss out of the financial fair play rules and their £25m players loaded on the bench isn't going to bring me much joy either to be honest as amusing as it will be to see glum RS faces.

Dont think it's a given they beat Palace anyway, Sturridge looked nowhere near fit today and the rat's head has completely gone.

Lineker does a segment on the NBC Sunday after game show. He reported that he a text conversation with Mourinho who said "City still have to go to Everton who won't want to let Liverpool win the title so they will let city win". Lineker replied that the supporters and players were far too proud to let that happen.

and gary is absolutely right there.

Like I said you're entitled,to beat city hands the title to them, to be happy to beat city is to be happy to see them crowned champions because they WILL win their last two games no doubt about that
To be happy and to beat city means i want everton to win lol-and there is no such thing as it hands them the title, they still HAVE to win, nothing is that easy-if they are suppose to win or not,if pool lose one game-which they could do and chelsea win there 2,chelsea could win,you just dont know with footy, and thats the beauty of it,did anybody have sunderland to beat chelsea last week, and to conceed on 90 away to man city to be seconds from winning there,i very much doubt it-not many had us to lose to palace apart from us thinking the worst like we do been everton fans lol

you and some have your way of thinking, and me and others have our way of thinking lol

I think we need to focus on the games that we can win and put all our energies into winning them. Man City are chasing the title and look a tough ask. The Hull game is more important in my opinion.

Exactly, will be tough without Barry. Imagine Osman against Toure!

If we can't get a point against a Hull side with a cup final a few days later then something is wrong.

As I've said though, would rather we won both and Palace beat the RS to derail them.

everton loose to potentially stop rs winning title. city have 2 easy home games after and rs go to palace so I'm confident city beat us and title is there's. cant wait to see the faces on kopites when city win the league, always going on about their amazing stevie G, yeah never won a title mate. I want it to stay like that thanks. Lampard>gerrard

I have a lot of red mates who were taking the piss saying when we were singing (we're gonna win the league now your gonna believe us) Liverpool have been singing it for weeks Haha

All I ever really want is for 11 players in blue shirts to put in a performance to make me - and other fans - feel proud to be an Evertonian. I want the players to wear that shirt with pride and to leave the pitch having achieved something. When Everton win it's the best feeling because the players have fought together as a team, and when we lose it hurts because they've fallen short and I know that the players are hurting too.

If we lose, and City go on to win the title, of course that will give me some satisfaction. But it's a hollow kind of satisfaction because in the end what counts is for Everton to be better and stronger. For us to beat Man City on Saturday a weakened Everton team will have had to play out of their skins. I would love to see that kind of winning performance. And you know what ? After that I wouldn't care what the RS say. I would smile and tell them 'you only won that title because we gave it to you'. And I'd remind them that Everton had taken more points against the top teams this season than just about anyone else.

Howard was doing commentary on the city Palace match and afterwards was asked about the upcoming game
"they are not going to enjoy coming to our place....we are not going to make it easy for them. They know the tempo that we create, they know the atmosphere that Goodison has, we are going to everything in our power - we have our own goals and our own aspirations for this season so we are not concerned about them and we are going to try to brush them aside like they are going to do to us."
