If Liverpool win the league it's a disaster for Everton. We have bridged the gap somewhat. If they win it There are youngsters who will latch on to the champions, sponsorship deals increase for them therefore better players, they could easily gain momentum from a title win and the gap increases more. We aren't going to compete with city/Chelsea next year, Liverpool win the league and we can add them to that list. For that reason I want Everton to get beat next week if arsenal win tomorrow because I think it's for the good for the long term future of the club.

Any Liverpool can call me bitter all they like I will just point out GBH's through ball to Drogba. Chelsea and city above them before Monday and they don't beat palace.

Have no doubt about 2 things.

1. 4th place is gonna be outta of reach by tomorrow not cause arsenal are brilliant but cause the barcodes are nutjobs and are managed by a 'the complete nutjob'

2. The koppites will be coming to goodison signing 'ye won us the league, oh ever-to ,ye won us the league' if we beat city and they win the title

Because of these 2 'things; I'm adding a 3rd

3. I will not be disappointed if we 'drop points!- (phrased correctly) maybe 3! next weekend. Those who question my loyalty need only to look at my bank statement (which I recently cancelled the hard copies being sent home due to the risk of my wife steaming em open). I'll be blowing another 500 smakers on flights accom and alcoholic refreshments next weekend which pushed it above the 4 g's for this season. ffs everton!

I want 5th not 6th and I want to be able to celebrate our season at Hull without having to worry about the result so I want at least a point against Citeh, and preferably three. It would help if the RS lost one of their remaining games though and Chelski win 2. I just can't bring myself to want to lose a game.

Mancs and Spuds play before we do mate on the weekend, a loss for spurs and any dropped points for united would see us already claim 5th before we play, if just one of those happens we claim 6th, good likelihood we will go into the City game already having Eufa sorted

If it was possible i'd have preferred for their own good them to have come fourth mate, after so many years without champions league football the play off game could have come in handy to ensure that they don't get off to a terrible start in the group stages, which ofc none of us would like to see being their our beloved neighbors

Think it's best if they only got Europa for their own good tbh, their squad is too short and they have no funds to spend, you can't really expect them to compete with the CL big spenders like Viktoria Plzen and Basel ffs

Spurs and Man U both play their games before we do.

It's entirely possible by kick off vs man city we're already guaranteed europa.

If Arsenal win against Newcastle they'll be 4 points ahead of us and it would take a catastrophe on their part for us to catch them.

Spurs play in the early game on Saturday. If they get beat away at West Ham it's going to be virtually impossible for them to close the gap on us.

In those circumstances we could afford to lose to City without it affecting our league position.

Liverpool don't play until after us but, if they lost away at Palace, we could beat City and they could still go on to win the league.

The players will be giving it 100% whichever way and they'll want the scalp of City to go with Chelsea, Arsenal and United at Goodison.

Come around to wanting us to beat City. It's about the points tally and laying down a marker by beating top teams at home. Will be annoyed if RS win, but I like the thought of them having to rely on our brilliance to win it.

yep, we lost all our best kids like Owen, Fowler and many more due to them being the big club, we now have the kids, such as rooney, rodwell and barkley, if the rs win the title, they will a lot of the next kids in Liverpool

Well said lad, not only that if they fail after the hype it's a great season for the blues with civil war, recriminations and self harming in Scandanavia and Asia among reds.

Also a Good chance "toothy" will leave and the whole edifice starts to implode with Brenda putting his weight back on - ahh happy days.

The idea of us beating City and then after 2 days of them celebrating, palace beat them on the monday, appeals like.

There's no way them winning the title and us finishing outside the top 4 without a trophy is anything other than complete [Poor language removed], no matter how it happens though.
