We should do what Lazio did a few years ago...

"If you win we'll beat you up," they chanted to their own players in the 2-0 loss to Internazionale which helped prevent Roma from winning the scudetto.

Whenever a Lazio player had the audacity to make it out of his own half and run at the Inter defense, the Lazio 'support' booed and jeered until Inter regained the ball. When first Walter Samuel and then Thiago Motta scored, the Curva Nord unveiled a sarcastic banner which read "OH NOOO."

Hahah Love it

Essentially by saying you want City to win you're going against Martinez and the phenomenal attitude he's set our players up with.

He'll be sending them out to beat City. Make no mistake there.

Think on.

We know. But we still want City to win if Arsenal do.

We know full well we won't roll over, but that's not the discussion - it's whether the fans want us too.

This is like asking if you want to bum your dad, or if he wants to bum you.

DONT MAKE ME CHOOSE.

Being honest with ya here mate, If we played like we actually game a damn vs Southampton when it was all still to play for, then I'd say fair point to you, however we didn't and to turn in a performance against the best team in the country which solely helps out the rs in practical terms will grate hugely

I think the players will be aware of the fans feelings about the game though. I'm certain they won't go out to get beat, but i do think it'll have an impact on their performance.

Spot on mate. The same with CP as well.

Well I wanted them to win at southampton and the players didn't bother so I think they owe me one, tbh.

I'm only messing really chaps.

I can fully understand both sides but my personal preference is to snot City.

I actually imagine if I lived in the Liverpool area my answer would be very different.
