I honestly think it is some shiny arse out to make a name for themselves, no use of Everton emblems on an Everton site?,,,,, stop pi55ing on my leg. You couldn't make it up .

Classic.

We haven't got a pot to piss in for players, but there's always money for scumbag lawyers.

κόκκινο shi*e

You pronounce it Kokkino skata - red sh*te.

I lived over there for a couple of years, you first thing it's mad then you start understanding the writing. Mad.

To be fair folks, fans would be criticising the Club if they didn't appoint the likes of Watson Burton LLP to protect the brand.

Granted, sometimes common sense can go amiss but that's life when your dealing with legalities.

An example such as this. On creation of this website I sought permission to use the Clubs crest which was kindly granted. I'm sure if I asked again now I'd have a good chance of them saying the permission is still granted.

Unfortunately, it was the communication between the Club and their legal representatives that caused us headaches. They'd still hound us relentlessly - one time to the point which resulted in expense. We all just want an easy life, to make it easier, we go with the legal lot and accept their advise of reminding you all to refrain from using the crest. It's not worth swimming against the tide with this one.

I'm taking the David Moyes approach. I'd only ever kick up a stink if I felt we were being impeded. The Club don't owe us anything (contrary to what some would have you believe...) and I'm sure one day they'll implement a strategy which looks to capitalise on fan sites.

Any drawings I now do shall be "Drawing of a male which looks a bit like (enter player's name) from an English Premier League Football Club.

Hsd out!
