I've given up trying to sort out travelling from Pula, so I am ashamed to say that in true kopite mode, I'll be watching it in the pub.
My Trip Advisor contact suggests The Bounty in Pula itself.
Same advice though, no colours and don't cheer any Everton goals. Ha!

if you are in Pula, there are plenty of buses to get to split from there. Or at least, to Rijeka, and then from Rijeka to Split.

theres some bad internet warriors on here trying to [Poor language removed] stir,
split fans will be treated with respect at goodison and I expect we,ll have a great time over there,
ignore the cringy 14 year old whoppers on here most of them haven't been further than rhyl.
I was disgusted by some of the posts on here the last day or so from our European neighbours and am frankly astonished that you don't feel the same.

Was thinking the same thing. Hope all those stirring it up are actually going over to Split so can back up their comments in person if they meet any of their fans.
You're as bad as them if you're advocating violence at football matches.

There are still reasonably priced flights left on Monarch. Gatwick to Zagreb, flying out on Wednesday and coming back Friday. £39 out and £147 back.
What I'm saying is I'm in Pula on holiday on 24th.
I have been told the options about getting to Split but whatever I opt for its two days out of my holiday and Mrs Tommytowne is far from happy I'm even considering it, not even when I suggest she can come with me.

Poland invented Vodka lads. It's one of those things you can look up.
The first documented production of vodka in Russia was at the end of the 9th century, but the first known distillery at, Khylnovsk, was about two hundred years later as reported in the Vyatka Chronicle of 1174. Poland lays claim to having distilled vodka even earlier in the 8th century, but as this was a distillation of wine it might be more appropriate to consider it a crude brandy. The first identifiable Polish vodkas appeared in the 11th century when they were called 'gorzalka', originally used as medicines.

Me being born a devout coward, or at least born with an inbuilt gene for self preservation, from my own experience, the old Yugoslavian people, are amongst the last people I would want to deliberately antagonise.
Each of them will rarely back away from any sort of provocation and they are past masters at being more than capable of looking after themselves.
In my Merchant Navy days I played football against the crews of vessels registered in Split and I still carry the scars on my left shin of these friendly games.
So please, anyone even in light hearted banter mode bigging themselves up for "bovva", don't!

So Poland had distilleries about a hundred years before Russia.

Altough today, they say the best vodka is produced in Ukraine

But what was the product of destilleries? Nevermind, never tried Polish vodka, tried all kind, and as I sad, russian vodka was revelation for me, although experts (sweden, russia, poland) today say that Ukrainan vodka is the best

Vodka. But just having a laugh anyway

Hello guys, Hajduk fan here, greetings from the hot Dalmatia. I've been reading this thread for the last few days and I think you got some things wrong. Don't think that you're coming to the stadium full of fascists. Ofcourse, we have ultras, but I really really don't think anything will happen to you on away game as long as you show respect towards Torcida in first game and don't attack any of them. Since you have no ultras you won't be a target, in my opinion.

Now lets talk football. I saw you've been giving a lot of importance to the data considering our last seasons. Forget that! Hajduk is actualy quite a different team this year and is finally playing some good football. Don't get me wrong, Everton is far better team, but Hajduk is not sh*t and rubbish as i red from some of you guys. If you don't destroy us in first leg, believe me, everything is possible in Split.

Relax, come to Split and enjoy beautiful town, nice weather, cheap beer and fanatic Poljud atmosphere. Cheers!

Half our fan base thinks we will lose and the other half think we'll win 20-nil on aggregate.

Everton that

Hello Scousers :D

As one of ex "lads" of Hajduk let me tell you what.you can expect in Split. First if all, if you are a normal fan looking for a beer and a good time you have nothing to worry about, you are not who Torcida is after. If you do have a fight with someone it will probably be either Liverpool fans on a stag night or Aussies you insulted as convicts or if you were extremely obnoxious and drunk and forgot you werent in Vauxhall or Bootle :)
What you can expect are proposals for a kickoff from our up and comers. When Stoke were in town we still hadnt realized how gone the hooligan days are in Britain, so we spent the night walking up to them like "Oi mate! You Stoke?" "Yes" "Want to kick off? fair numbers" "No" "...Ok. Bye" :D You can imagine our disappointment, but Torcida has quite a reputation to keep up and it didnt aquire it by attacking Baz&Kyle on ten beers, but those who are actually up for it.
If you however find yourself craving a bit of "Who are ya" after you've loosened up, be sure you'll find out ;) if not, no problems. Police presence will be HUGE for what you're used to, and theres a good chance you'll get a beach just for yourselves and get buses to the ground later and back again. Wearing jerseys on the night out is a big no, if you do its like you drew a target on yourself and you will have noone else to blame but yourself.

Anyways, I'm sure most of you will have a great time in Split, I hope you lose though ;)
