Everton Draw Hajduk Split

You would be surprised at the level of sympathy your neighbours have in Split ;)

Because that wouldn't end in a fight would it mate...
...oh.
Right.
Okay.
So...

You want the posters to meet the Hajduk fans to relay their comments face to face, but not to start a fight despite (in your words) fighting being inevitable if they said those things face to face. You then backtrack and state that you would actually hope that these posters would be far more respectful if they were to meet the Hajduk fans - which I'm guessing would mean not relaying comments such as:

You've gone some way to twist what i've said there fair play..

My point is that it's easy for people to show others a lack of respect on a forum, but quite different when actually over in someone else's City. You've twisted that to say that i'm advocating violence which i'm not. I am saying if they're going to mouth off on the forum about the opposition, then it'd be nice to know that these people are at least going to go over there and will tell them to their faces too, and not just ridicule them online whilst staying at home. It would be disappointing to know that innocent Everton fans may face retribution as a result because some of their fans have taken things the wrong way. Whilst unlikely, it's not unheard of for our fans to be attacked with little reasoning on these trips.

I then went on to say that in reality, I imagine that these people wouldn't be like that over there anyway, and they would probably be respectful (or at least i'd hope they would be and represent our away support in the right manner). I also said that I know that most of the comments are wind ups anyway but unfortunately they may not be taken that way to people who don't understand our humour.

I'll be going over in a few weeks having a good time whilst showing the locals respect which I am sure thousands of other Everton fans will be. Apart from a few incidents in Lille which were mostly provoked by the poorly disciplined Police, our fans have behaved very well on all the trips I have been to and have represented the club in the manner we'd expect.

If you want to make out that these comments are 'shocking' then fine.

No worries, noone will get done because of your comments here :D already on the first day of the draw this place was discovered and written off as a sad example of the degeneration of a once proud British race :D

Does anyone know why the club aren't loading season tickets for (this) Europa game? Is it to get you to join the Auto-Cup scheme? In the past there's never been an issue loading cup matches on season tickets!

Ticket information for Everton’s Europa League play-off against Hajduk Split has been released.

The Blues face their Croatian opponents on Thursday 17 August at Goodison Park, before the return leg takes place a week later on 24 August.

Season Tickets holders who have subscribed to the Europa League Auto-Cup scheme should note that payment will be taken from Monday 7 August. Please ensure sufficient funds are in your account as any failed payments may result in non-entry to the game.

Tickets will go on sale to Season Ticket holders on Tuesday 8 August from 2pm.

Season Ticket holders have until close of business on Thursday 10 August to claim their own seat. Access will be added to Season Cards for all Season ticket holders should the same seat be purchased and no Season Ticket holders will be displaced for this round."

So I assumed it was gonna be loaded?

Yes I appreciate that help but mine said "tickets will be in the post" - all very strange.

GoT got pretty much rediculed on Hajduk's boards for the comments. Mostly for expenting higher quality stuff. Red stars and Serbian this and thats are kinda old news.

@chicoazul @Bungle raise your game lads ffs
this is emabarassing.
the croats are now ripping you for being old

I ran out of tired old cliches within about 3 posts, they've rumbled me and I just don't have any fight left.

I did pm a load of them on their forum though and offered them out but nobody responded. I even typed really loudly and slowly so they could understand it.

I think they will go on your card but you can ask them to hold back on posting it, ask for a email ticket but then you can get a printed ticket from the box office at a later date, i did that last game because my postman is thick and i didnt want to risk it getting "lost"
