Well I feel the players are losing respect and becoming immune to the boo, maybe a new angle is needed.
We could throw cushions at 'em... Oh no, done that back in the 1970s

Well there is a generation or two that have missed out on that, me included, and I am sure it would be popular once moreWe could throw cushions at 'em... Oh no, done that back in the 1970s
There are definitely two sides to Goodison and we have got to use it to our advantage. Any crowd that gets on your back makes it difficult but you are going to get that if things aren’t going well. The fans have got their right to give their opinion.
you could always confuse the chuff out of them by cheering next time they do something rightWell I feel the players are losing respect and becoming immune to the boo, maybe a new angle is needed.
sarcastic booing of Howard is just wrong, getting on to Stones for playing like a five a side kid on our goal line IS acceptable, getting on to Barlley is verging on the ridiculous, getting on to Martinez for having his favourites and refusing to make substitutions when any one with half a football brain can see a player is struggling IS ACCEPTABLE--stop bulling to the media as well Bobby ladHmmm seems the players feel it..
Didn't Phil Neville say something similar?
Booing has actually infiltrated my day to day life.
I've booed at cats, children, vans, automatic checkouts in Tesco & a meal at Wagamama.
I can't stop it, it's like a disease.
Best fans in the world #wearemagicyouknowVoice is gone. Everyone rallied together tonight. More of the same going forward blues
Again last night some of the abuse aimed towards Barkley was disgusting and embarrassing
All the lads I go the game with mentioned it, and we all sit in different parts of the ground.
One of the things we discussed after the game last night was this self entitlement that has crept into the way some of our supporters think. In the past we laughed at Liverpool and Newcastle for this behaviour, sadly we are now creating a section of fans who have this belief....Totally agree.
Yes Ross makes mistakes - who the heck doesn't, but he gets singled out mercilessly by some people.
The most bizarre comment last night came from a numpty sat behind me in the Main Stand when around the 20-minute mark a pass from Mo aimed for Gerard was intercepted and said numpty piped up with "GERRIMOFF".
I sat there and shook my head is disbelief.
I was made up later as immediately City equalised, said numpty threw his toys out of the pram and stormed out... could barely have been 500 yards from the ground when Rom despatched that peach of a cross from Gaz Baz
Agree totallyTheres no doubt some fans just go to a match to give out, there also some who go to see a film and say is crap no regardless of whether it is or not. Some people are just dour sorts by nature.
You have to understand the game to not let it get to you when Ross makes a mistake, to try and see the bigger picture. He is learning from every game and improving.
I think the knock he shipped affected his game last night as he didnt seem fully comfortable in his movement.
