Why would the discontent be with the under 30s in particular. Most of us haven't even seen us win a trophy. It's not like Martinez has taken away all of those trophies every year.

It's more the fact that he finished 11th last season and is 11th again half way through this season. He's been performing poorly for 18 months. At most other clubs he would have been sacked ages ago.

Like Utd and van Gaal?

Then protest properly to get him sacked instead of this half hearted nonsense.
Problem with the under 30's is you think a bit of booing at Goodison and a fume on social media will make a difference.

Only thing I can say is that I've never known a player or manager get better after being booed and statistically people who've booed have been proven wrong a lot more times than right.
We have and always will be our own worst enemies and the biggest moaners I've come across. Goodison can be and needs to be a terrifying place for the away team. And the fans should up their game. It's not like there is nothing to get us excited.

I say yes, unfortunately the under thirties are badly letting us down and crying like spoilt little bishes.

My first year as a season ticket holder was at 15 years of age and ended up in the last game of the season against Wimbledon to stay up. The football was absolutely dire but at least we got behind the team.

This season offensively we have been brilliant to watch and all you have done is moan and whinge.

The way we support the team we deserve to be relegated.

Well said. Negativity breeds negativity, and it translates to the players. Sunderland and Newcastle are great examples of that in recent years, look at them now

The fans have no confidence at home and are expecting the away teams to score
At this moment in time without a doubt, but in general the home games i've ever been to have never really reached the dizzying heights of the away games i've been to! Regardless of the result either.

That surprises me.
I have only ever been to a few away games years ago and it was a good atmosphere.

To be honest, I think the reason for the discontent is the utter smog we listen to every other week about how we have a team who should be challenging for the top 4, or that it's the best Everton team in decades, or that we have 4 of the best young players in the league, or that Everton have the talent to win titles etc.

When you hear that from your manager after every game, it's hard to be proud of the averageness.

That aside, in hindsight this has been the most exciting Everton have been in my lifetime. I would never boo the team, nor the manager. Would love to turn this "potential" into something real though.

Definitely and we seen today two of our players reacting negatively to the crowd during an important game.

John Stones should be more grateful to all the central defensive experts looking to pass on their wisdom and experience from the sidelines.
