Everton FC in battle with village farm shop over its name

We should make here work matchdays behind a counter in the lower Bullens pulling Chang for the baying hordes as her penance.

She needs to disappear, Doug. What if Yarmolenko signs for us, takes a wrong turn and ends up at the Everton Farm Shop? He plays the rest of his career kicking a ball against a wall and wondering where it all went wrong.

As has been said by many this is poor PR and perhaps the club could've been softer by stating their reasons why and perhaps offering her a free advertisement in the club programme in exchange rather than being bullish up front.

I can drive to that farm in less than 15 minutes, really is a small village with very little else.

I'm no expert, but it would seem foolish for the Club to not protect its trademark.

Everton have been reasonable;

By allowing her trademark 'Everton', would there be potential implications in the future?
Ridiculous to think you could even consider attempting to trademark a placename. So pathetic of the hierarchy of this club.

I say we muster up some of our top boys and take a trip down there. They'll never be able to compete with our numbers down on the farm. Watch out for Jethro though, he's flooking massive.
