Everton have given Man Utd it’s customer database - Home end tickets CANCELLED

Oh sure. But I suspect that United had reason to ask us if he was, as opposed to Everton giving our database to them. What that reason is/was, I have no idea.

Man Utd's naivety/neglect has led to their panic.

They never should have put it on general sale. They did and theyve clocked all the L postcodes and realised their mistake.

To rectify/minimise risk I assume they've asked Everton to cross reference the database to cancel orders?

General sale? Blimey. That is naive.

Its surely not a full OT expected is it?

Maybe I'm naive but you would think there should no segregation issues or safety issues for a preseason game

Oh sure, but like the boss suggested, if United clocked the number of L postcodes in the Stretford End, they are going to be belt and braces I guess.

Like I said in the ticket thread, everyone was acting like it was Blackburn away and all day to sit in the home end, there would have been murder if all the blues with tickets would have got into the home end at Man Utd, its like loads of mancs turning up in the Park End, there would be murder guaranteed

United away always has an unpleasant and volatile undercurrent, so any lack of segregation would likely cause some form of incident.

The tickets can be purchased electrically (with a QR code), so if people do really want to go they could register with a different name and non-L post code.

Lids on the ale and Lemo on an all nighter and then the train to Manchester in the morning for a lunchtime kick off..

What could possibly have gone wrong..

Fully sold out mate.

The rumour yesterday was 8000 L postcodes in the home end.

Icing on the cake is they put it on general sale before our allocation was even announced , so loads just said to hell with it and bought home end

Christ. Not surprised they are rattled.
