1: The £8mil isnt confirmed

2: He left in summer, not in the Jan window as im referring to

If we sold Digne for £25mil that total shows on our books for FFP / Profit sustainability.

Then if we signed someone for £25mil on a 5 year deal only £5mil is shown immediately with the remainder shown at £5mil a season for the balance of the contract.

So in theory, we sell for £25mil, buy for £25mil and were £20mil up this Jan.

Im not understanding why we would need to sell a player for equal or higher value.

We could sell Holgate for £5mil and Mykolenko for £20mil.

This is correct if we started on a level playing field at profit and sustainability of zero pounds, at present according to figures released we are still 35 million behind the eight ball, but this didn't include the 7.7 million we got for James though.

Plus I don't think we can afford to sell Holgate at 5 million as we don't have a squad until we get replacements

Kirkbride reckons we'll be signing this Baltic lad for £20 millions.

I imagine we'll be punting Digne for £25-30 millions and bringing in this fella + a RB.
The Baltic Sea (in Latin Mare Balticum) is an arm of the Atlantic Ocean, enclosed by Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Sweden and the North and Central European Plain.

Close, Jimmy, close.
