I really like Ikone, he's a great player. Bags of pace, can pick a pass. Plays right or behind the striker, left footed too so what we need. Ah well.

Sure Mykolenko will be good for us.

€14mil is about £12mil.

Tsygankov is out of contract in 2023 so probably available on a reasonable deal to continue our Ukrainian crusade.

Unless we went for another non-scoring non-assisting winger in Chukwueze :p

Never seen him. Would he play beside DCL or rotate with him if we went for him?

He's a right winger who doesnt really score or assist.

Meh, he went off the boil last season and this.
He was great when I watched Lille last season, albeit not as good as the season before.

Hadn't seen loads of him this year, bar a few bits of the CL.

Still far better than what we have in that position and for 14m euros it's a snap. He's only 23.

I dunno if it’s an attitude problem but he went from main man to almost bit part overnight. Agreed though he’s better than what we have. Townsend never getting replaced anyway he’s his best pal.

Created 21 chances this season. That'd automatically put him as our third-most creative player...

I mean I'd prefer Diaz but think that's ship's sailed. Plus he plays on the left anyway.

yes he is, which is why I just presumed this guy would be an upgrade ;)

But managers very rarely sign a player then upgrade him within 6 months
Yeah I think with Townsend he was signed as a squad option really but I get you.

Benitez is wedded to 4231 (even though he doesn't play it properly) so we'll probably go for an attacking midfielder.

Townsend is very, very, very average

Indeed, but thats also Ikone.

Well, probably not as hes been in France. His stats would likely drop in England.

Plus he wouldnt be getting the same time on the balll under Benitez.

Its a bit like saying €14mil would have been a snip for Iwobi.

Theres plenty of right wingers who are far superior in every department....they cost more than €14mil but theres a reason for that lol

Fair enough Zatman. I've liked what I've seen from him. Depends what you're wanting on that right flank.

We probably don't need right mid as an area of concern though, just yet.
