So what? Its obvious.

He was on the bench lol do me a favour...

Youre posting over and over again about how you want Mykolenko AND Digne in the squad while missing that...

...we likely need to sell Digne to pay for Mykolenko.

Then youre blaming Benitez for that lol

Now youre blaming him for not playing someone who will likely be sold to bring in two players knowing that its dangerous to risk an injury.

What would you choose...

A: Keep Digne and make no signings.

B: Sell Digne and bring in Mykolenko + Patterson and perhaps more?
Notice you've changed your tune on the manager since we signed a couple ot bin lids.

We wouldn’t get a bowl of soup for Kenny. And even if there is interest in Holgate from
Burnley, it may have come to
Light in the last few days. So why wouldn’t he not play him if we need him.
Digne is a different issue, he’s fallen out with the manager.

I actually agree with @BlueToff in the sense that Benitez is to blame for not keeping Digne in the squad to ensure his value didnt drop.

But why play him if hes crossed a line and / or we need to sell him to generate funds for new players.

The key though is that weve signed his replacement already...so why then risk Digne being injured after weve replaced him.

If i had bought a new house and was waiting for my last one to be sold, i wouldnt have a wild party in it as i wouldnt want to risk the place being destroyed.
If it was a club decision he wouldn't have been on the bench. He was on the bench because the club had not made him unavailable for selection but the manager decided not to pick him.
He's likely on the bench because Benitez wanted it to appear as though we wont sell him for peanuts and hes still part of the squad.

That horse has bolted though.

You think i now want Benitez to stay? lol

Thats a good one ;)

I posted in the Benitez thread earlier that i was done with him and now im going to focus on attacking the players.

Theres only so many times you can write the same things about Benitez.

This could turn out to be a decent window

Holgate out to Burnley would be ace.

Keane and Mina next on the list...

I think 2 out means 1 in...then summer we sell the remaining of the trio.

Exactly !

Also, in the summer there are a few who's contracts run down , so they leave which will free up even more money ?

Now were sorting the full backs im just hoping we can fix the centre backs.

Mina/Holgate/Keane out brings in upwards of £30mil and 200k+ a week wages.

If we could move them on this window and in the summer and bring in another player with the same profile as Mykolenko/Patterson then id be very happy.

You mean you will be picking on every player over the age of 22

Same mate , would be class that . It's very refreshing to see us moving so quick in a window tbh .

Personally, I'd like to see us look for a backup striker . I know we have Solomon , but I don't think he will do much else this season . He will be another who will be gone in the summer

I’m not sure how much of it is down to Benitez but the signings we have made in the main, have been totally the right way to go. Begovic (As back up is ok) Gray (Need i say anymore, good player) Townsend (Steady decent squad player) Mykolenko (can’t say I know anything about him, but age is right) Rondon (Well not really what we need in the first team, but was only meant to be back up, which would have probably been ok. Probably shouldn’t have been signed but it was a case of getting players in cheap) then Patterson (if it comes off is another young player who will want to prove himself) so a lot of who we have signed are young and I would think will be hungry so that’s a big plus in my book.
But shame our position isn’t much better, that has to go down to Benitez it’s his job to get points and he isn’t doing it atm, which if continues will ultimately cost him his job, but we will have a decent foundation if and when a new manager comes in, time will tell on that one.
