We still need another forward or top CM on loan, the reality is two young fullbacks that may not be ready to play may not help us much this season. You need to address CB in the summer, but right now we need forward and midfield depth so we arent playing Delph or Rondon

So your giving him every chance then ? Pathetic Dave the lad hasn't even kicked a ball for us and you've already turned on him. What kind of support is that then ?
Ive seen him. I have no idea why you are hitting out at me as I've already conceded he cxan be decent going forward....but you dont seem to want to acknowledge that, only that I (rightly) question any defensive qualities he has.

As said: I've seen him a good few times and I think he'll be ripped apart in this league. I just hope the other lad bought has more defensive quality.

I hope we just sign a decent midfielder and go 4-3-3
We can sign the best player in the world to play 4-3-3 but if the manager has an inferiority complex and plays 5-4-1 we still aint getting very far.

We should have a manager who believes this club should be in the top 6 and act like it, reminds me of the early Moyes era where we were ALWAYS the underdog and taking a knife to a gun fight.

Next time we see 3/5 at the back ever again with this Everton side he should be instantly dismissed.

I am loyal to our manager but quite prepared to criticise him for what he is obviously responsible for.

Tried this the other day but you (predictably) didn't answer.

One word answer, yes or no (no blustering and prevaricating in the usual manner. No waffle about transfer spend or injuries. Just a one word response, shouldn't be difficult):

Is Rafael Benitez currently doing a good job as manager of Everton FC? Yes or No.

Can almost guarantee you can't do it.

I'll wait and see him play for our club first thank you and yes he is young, coming from a different league but Maldini would struggle to adapt to this team with the awful formations and tactics were employing.
On a cautionary note don't think we will see the best of these two players until next season, hope I'm wrong like. But luckily both of them possess speed and they will get plenty of opportunities to prove it with the mercual, majestic Michael Keane in between them.

Spot on.

...and Man City.

I stand by it too.

Anyone wanting to avoid Liverpool winning a title understands EXACTLY.

Maybe you're a wool and dont appreciate local bitterness as much.
I didn't grow up in Liverpool, but I was in a school year with myself and 4 or 5 other Evertonians and about 90 Liverpool fans. The majority of my work colleagues support Liverpool and delight in rubbing my face in our failings. I hate Liverpool more than is healthy.

Maybe, MAYBE I could get behind losing an end of season match where we can't move up or down regardless of the result, if it guaranteed Liverpool not winning the league.

A mid season game when we're on an awful run and plummeting down the league?

Not on your life.

Slightly off topic but transfer (and money we've spunked up the wall) related, Southampton's net spend since 2017 is 6.6 million, spent 205.1m, received 198.5m !!!
