Letting Allan go would be a bit mad he is currently a starter with experience, we let him go we need two midfielders as we currently only have Doucoure and Gomes aside from Allan who can play in there to the required level. Also it's a gamble that anyone we bring in will hit the level we need straight away.

Hmm, unlikely I imagine. My point really is that if we don't want or need him we should look to sell him, if nobody wants to buy him can we really afford to loan him when everyone agrees that we are short at CB?

So from what Im getting from the transfer activity, after hearing the criticism about not running a three man midfield, Benitez has decided to move down to a 1 man midfield.
