Everton January 2022 Transfer Thread

I actually wouldn't even mind shifting Allan elsewhere if we could acquire a quality replacement and weren't already incredibly deficient in midfield. that possibility seems unlikely though. his lack of mobility has become more apparent and he doesn't offer enough offensively.

Why would we let him go on loan, rumours we will let Gbamin go on loan. Doesn’t make sense. A player who’s in the team, also an area we’re quite weak in.

Unless
1) it’s obligation and a nice fee
2) we have one/two midfielders lined up
No idea. Just what I saw when I googled his name and clicked on 'news'.

But he is starting and we have nobody else beyond Gomes who is fit enough or able enough to play in a two or in the EPL regularly. So whilst I agree it would be good to get someone with more mobility given our lack of options if we moved Allan we would need two midfielders this window a huge ask to find two that improve us this window straight away. More sensible to bring one in this window then replace Allan in the summer.

I hope not. But rumours circulating we would let him go on loan and that Sarri has called him directly asking him to go to lazio. If a player wants to leave, they leave. A la Digne.
Feel like that's being rather disingenuous with Digne. Digne was more than happy to commit his future to us just 10 months ago. New manager came in who has a completely outdated style and gets frozen out?
