We honestly need 3 Midfielders gbamin is such a liability hes played like twice all season and he's not known for his durability. Gomes is just Gomes which by saying his name at this point you know he's a liability from all the rants about his awfulness that start with his name on here
Well I don't know if we can say that he's a liability or not because he hasn't been played.

The one league game he started he was hung out to dry by our former manager

I like Loftus-Cheek- he’s the type of player we need, someone confident in driving forward with the ball from deep. Breaks up play as well. I remember him coming in when we played Fulham away last year and he single handedly changed the game in their favour. From memory we clung on and won in the end.
why would chelsea let him go ? he has played quite a bit.

Better than spending Digne money on one full-back with experience IMO.
Well depends. You can get a good RB who has experience and isn't 30 for about the Patterson fee, I reckon. I doubt it would have cost us much more than £11m to get Mbabu out of Wolfsburg, for example. He's 26.

I also think we've overpaid for Mykolenko. £17m isn't some drop in the ocean for us atm.

But, I am happy with both additions. They just need time and Everton don't really have that. Suppose that's the issue, but that's on the club, not the players. Hopefully both get a run under the new manager and play in a system that isn't constantly putting pressure on the defence.

I do think Onyango should be given more of a go, he hasn’t looked bad even in the chaos of our midfield when he’s come on.
I was really disappointed with him on saturday to be honest. Not in terms of ability because he didn't get much chance to show it but I expected him to come on and be full of energy and enthusiasm and he just wasn't really. He didn't really get involved in the game which was disappointing. He'd need to show a lot more than he did then if he's going to be a regular for the rest of the season.

With Delph and Doucoure out for a month minimum we can’t afford to try to wing it, not in our position and with plenty of games coming up. Minimum two midfielders required by Monday if we are going to have a midfield that isn’t relegation worthy. Maybe let’s not waste any more days trying to choose between a normal guy and a total maniac?

If Patterson was £11mil then Mykolenko wasnt £17mil.

Patterson is £11mil up to £16mil
Mykolenko is up to £17mil

We dont actually know what the initial figure for Mykolenko was.

I still don’t think I’ve actually seen him pass a ball yet.

Yeah has to be two cm now cant see us getting anything else. One attacking mid and and cdm. Would give us all a lift think we could get one but need two
