The suggestion was to buy Weston McKennie, Juve were reportedly willing to sell him to Spurs but they wouldn't match their valuation. You don't know whether PSG would loan Gueye, you just think you do.

I think Holgate to Brighton would be a good move for everyone. Sigurdsson, Tosun, Kenny, Delph, Begovic, Lonergan out on frees in the summer so that would be 7 players out.

I really think we need to move on at least 3 more players this window permanently. Heavily impacting any ability to bring in players and it seems like it creates stagnation having so much deadwood.

If we buy McKennie from Juventus for similar to the fee for Guimaraes going to Newcastle for it would be absolutely bizarre.

Conflicting reports on Kamara.

Some said he rejected premier league transfers (incl Newcastle) last summer and others saying he wants £100k a week to move this window.

If were paying £100k for Van De Beek on loan then im not sure why we wouldnt bring in Kamara as an anchor. Weve seen Guimaraes move for £30mil-€40mil and if Kamara was playing for Lyon and had a longer contract he'd be in that bracket.

I think there will be plenty of players wanting to join the club now we have Lampard.

Really think we're light on the wings. Not convinced about Townsend . Ok squad player. Grey too. Decent this year but not really sure about long term if he can keepup form. Would rather get two new starting players and put them on the bench. Gordon is ok but no end product.

Think we're okay for wingers atm mate.
 

With VDB coming in, a DM is crucial.

If we can manage that, plus Holgate out and a new CB in, then its been a great window and gives Frank a solid squad to launch with.

I dont think we need a centre back to replace Holgate this window.

We'll still have Mina, Godfrey, Branthwaite and the Oaf.
 
Possibly a massive stretch but Valverde at Madrid is only getting a few mins here and there off the bench.

If by some miracle we could bring him in on loan with a buy option then that would be massive.

Madrid are also looking at Tchouameni (someone i rate highly at Monaco) and also moving on Mbappe and Haaland in the summer potentially.

So, its not beyond the realms of possibility.

Camavinga hasnt had too many minutes either and could slot in at Defensive midfield.
