The icing on the cake to this window is if Newcastle go full on desperate and take iwobi off us.. he’s a similar level to what their currently desperately buying.. (wood, burn etc)

If we could sell Holgate then promote Branthwaite to 3rd choice behind Mina/Godfrey.

If we could sell Keane as well its one epic window.

Gomes/Iwobi out the door as well and its the best jan window ever.

If we managed to SELL (not loan) either of Keane or Holgate by tonight then that would be amazing. If we could SELL both, it would be the best window since Moshiri rocked up.

I'm leaving the last two hangers on until another window on the grounds of some degree of realism.

Haven't spent anything though. VDB is on loan so maybe a couple of mill. Alli would essentially be free until 20 apps which is next season and things look different in the summer ffp wise.

Still helps though we have added to the wage bill so makes sense to move someone

I like Holgate. He seems the type that needs a run of games to get consistency.

Having said that, i prefer, Godfrey, Mina and Branthwaite to both him and Keane.

If we can sell Holgate + Keane for £10mil each then Mina goes in the summer we can bring in a top centre back to start and save a fortune in wages.

…. I think exactly the opposite. He gets found out with a run of games but he can be adequate coming in for the odd appearance.

i really don’t think he’s very good and he certainly shouldn’t be blocking the progress of Branthwaite.
