But DCL's key attributes are his pace and mobility. It's the finishing that lets him down.
Been seeing it less and less. DCL used to be a robust striker putting himself about and was a nightmare for any CB. He doesn't even do that now and that was his strength
DCL doesn't have real pace.
It is rare that we see any signs of DCL being mobile recently
When he was breaking into the team he often played wide left but you couldn't even manage that now.

Would like to see us sell any player out of contract in the summer. Anything is better than nothing. Would also like to see us bring in some consistent mid table players for weak positions, not worried about flashy players just players to get us up the table and comfortably away from the bottom so we can at least enjoy what's left of our last season in Goodison rather than looking over our shoulders every game

DCL's a weird one pace wise. I know people talk about the first yard being in your head and maybe that's the issue with him - he evidently wins the sprints in training etc but he has very rarely used pace to any great effect in games.

He looks like the flash in training because he’s being marked by young, Keane , milyenko , gana and doucs .
Beto probably looks “nippy” in training and then looks like he’s running with an pack pack full of bricks and with a bit of gravel in his boot when he plays a proper prem team
I think the rumours were that he just swerved the medical rather than failed it weren't they? I'm sure it was reported that he just didn't turn up for it, because he felt like he was being forced to go there and he didn't want to?

Tbh mate, I don't know. I just thought I'd post the rumour. I think he's highly rated, but given that they are having financial problems, they might need to get rid of a load of players
