Havent been posting regularly for some time. Since when did this forum become so sensitive?

When has forum members asking for specifics on a vague statement been an indication of high sensitivity, rather than a clarification of poor diction by yourself?

Check out Quenda at Sporting. Could be a bit more expensive than Chermiti but watch his dribbling and pace.

Wouldnt have him as first choice RW but we need 4 wide players.

What's this Lyon lad like that's linked? Weren't we in for him at the start of the season and he didn't want to leave ?

One thing we definitely agree upon is the need to sign a pact right winger.

Dont’t want to drag this further in the transfer thread. But dishing out infraction by assumption is just as silly. Will not be responding further on this issue.

Cherki is the player at Lyon we should be after. Can play across the 3 roles behind the centre forward.

On the right he'd be more of a playmaker type.

At the end of the day, we need 4 wide players and at the moment have Ndiaye & McNeil who can both play on the left.

I think Armstrong may be someone we could have rotating in the 10 role next season but we need a 10 and a RW in who can provide that cutting edge.

Yes Nuamah but id not go for him. Not been starting regularly for them this season.

With money behind us and Lyon needing to sell its Cherki all day.

….i don’t slate Chermiti, i just watch him and highlight how he should go across the keeper when he’s in on goal. I’m still awaiting a ‘that’ll do me moment’ from him in a PL cameo and will be absolutely chuffed if he’s the real deal. I have my doubts about him but I’ll be the first to praise Thelwell if he’s a superstar.

Not slating Chermiti, just consistent with that opinion. Fingers crossed for the lad.

…..ha, ha, Chermiti is the one player Thelwell has plucked from relative obscurity. He’s paying top dollar for him but it’s a punt at a diamond. I’ve posted before that it will tell us lots about our DoF and I will give him credit if Chermiti is a £40m striker.

Most other signings are generally known quantities that he pays the going rate for. Loan signings have largely been disappointing, hopefully Broja and Mangala make a difference.

Chermiti is an interesting one, I have my doubts but I hope he can do an Alan Whittle this season.
