Cherki is the player at Lyon we should be after. Can play across the 3 roles behind the centre forward.

On the right he'd be more of a playmaker type.

At the end of the day, we need 4 wide players and at the moment have Ndiaye & McNeil who can both play on the left.

I think Armstrong may be someone we could have rotating in the 10 role next season but we need a 10 and a RW in who can provide that cutting edge.

The sooner he leaves this club the better … he literally had all the space one could ask for but waited and waited to take the shot and in the end just “ kicked it” towards goal as the defender arrived to block him

Doucs chance wasn’t too difficult. Get the shot off asap across the keeper. He could have stopped the ball let the defender slide past before moving to his right foot.

There simply have to be two attacking players brought in. First one a winger, a genuine winger that can then push Ndiaye infield and mean we don't need to start two of the unholy trinity of McNeil, Harrison and Lindstrom every single game.

If we could get two wingers even better, at the end of the day we've only got one wide player contracted for next season in McNeil and a. He's not a proper winger, and b. he's abysmal anyway.

We can get away with this defence this season as long as we improve up top.

I'm concerned about bringing in players though if the manager is to be replaced by the summer - that doesn't make sense lumbering a new gaffer with players he didn't sign and who are contracted for the next 5 years.
