Everton have been tipped as the Premier League club who’ve submitted a bid for PSV attacker Ricardo Pepi.
The Guardian and Forbes journalist James Nalton suggest the Blues could be the team that’s bidding for the USA international after Goal reported on 20 December an “unnamed” English top-flight club has offered £16.5million to PSV for his services.
Replying to that report in a post on X, Nalton, who has also written for BBC Sport, mentioned the Toffees, saying: “Everton could do with a striker.”
Pepi has averaged around a goal an hour in the Eredivisie with PSV this season, scoring 10 goals in 636 minutes.
