Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

A link to Georges Mikautadze, described as a forward, but he is essentially a RW, has pace, can pass and score goals. Currently with Lyon, their debts and relegation mean they may sell players like him in January. It is rumoured that Galatasary have bid £14m, But it was rejected.

Just been watching that video myself after reading about the interest. Imagine him and Ndiaye in the same side!

If we ended up with someone like Conceicao who tends to play an attacking 4-4-2/4-2-3-1 we could end up with Mikautadze up top with Ndiaye just sitting off him feeding him the ball which could be a really interesting prospect imo.

Mentioned a lot already but Left Back and Right Wing should be priority if we have any wiggle room at all. As much as I'd love to see a Striker and Right Back as well I think buying well in the other 2 positions would have us moving in the right direction and the other 2 can wait until the summer.

People suggesting a CF? Broja's going to play plenty in the run in otherwise it's a pointless loan to just sign someone when he's actually fit. DCL I think is here until summer and then just leaves on a free. Beto aswell although perhaps with Chermiti fit he could be loaned out if there's any interest from Italy/Spain.

Have seen it suggested but probably dependent on DCL. Agree that he will likely be here until the summer now though.

Not going to be easy but If we can get a good pacey right winger and a solid left back with actual ability on the ball then it would make a world of difference to the side.

Badly need to regenerate the fullbacks into a more modern style.

Only way a striker scores at a good rate under Dycheball is either sign a Lukaku clone from 13/14 who can just create his own chances by bulldozing through CBs. Or Chris Wood. A shame he signed for Forest two years ago a week or two before Dyche came in. One of the annoyances of keeping Lampard in for weeks on end when he needed to be put out of his misery.

I wonder if the yanks will keep their hands firmly in their pockets this window in order to maximise spending power for a summer reset ?
Seems very quiet in terms of rumours/ links at present.

He can sit on the bench with O'Brien, Dyche isn't going to play an intelligent forward who goes forward and scores and creates goals.

Shout. Who would you like for right back?

Think we can get by this season without adding a new right back.

Reguillon from Spurs for a nominal fee on a 6-month deal (out of contract in June, available likely for a tiny fee) with option to extend if we're happy with him.
Still think walker petters at southampton
