Well he's going somewhere seeing as he isn't allowed to play for Barcelona in the second half of the season. Everton has a good relationship with Barcelona.
He will want to play football and would start every game for us. I understand bigger teams may be in for him, but don't ask don't get. West Ham got Tevez and Mascherano back in the day.

Interesting Romano mentioned Serie A, I also previously suggested we may have imput from TFG regarding players in Serie A that could be either given or suggested to Thelwell.
There are some really good players there and with Juventus in 6th and Milan 8th...as well as Roma of course in 10th theres a different feel to the league.
Its definitely a league we should be looking at for defenders and midfielders.

Probably wish casting then a realistic shout but I'd love Antoine Robinson (jedi) back at everton much more than just a sentimental shout because he was academy product and fellow American compatriot. I think Antoine has the defensive skills present along with the ability to create , also quick , sharp on the ball and is just more versatile than mykolenko. Also would be a shrewd move in acquiring more u.s. supporters
90k a week is a lot of money though for a full back.

They'd want about £30m for him though so absolutely no chance. But he'd be a huge upgrade for sure, not that that's saying much.

Unfortunately I agree with everything you posted it's just dispiriting with our horrid recruitment over the years we lost actual quality players because we didn't know how to properly manage the rare player with potential. Regardless if we can't pull off that transfer we definitely need a starting left back because as tenacious as mykolenko can be on defense he's so limited and injury prone
