Absolutely we do - my concern is if he does not change his "system" will new players make enough difference? He kills players. Getting two quality wingers then stifling them is not going to make much difference i fear.

I know nothing about him, but looks like a deeper lying midfielder.

Looks to play the ball forwards which we need, however, a lack of movement in front of him and huge groans when a pass goes astray will soon see him playing backwards and sideways

Central midfield is an area im not sure we need players.

Fast wingers & full backs for me.

….Doucoure, Gueye and Mangala started on Sunday and none are contracted to be here next season.

I know mate, thats a good thing. Allows the new manager in the summer to start with a clean deck....rather than adding more dross for Dyche.

With the ammount of players coming out of contract we can't do it all in one window we need to make some moves this window also to add some threat to keep us up if they are genuinely not sacking Dychosaurus

So lots of dross leaving in the summer, with a fresh new ground, new finances.....could be very nice clean start everyone needs.

Yep can't disagree with that mate, its the reality of the situation....we all need to remember it.

Throwing a few panic signing into the mix now doesn't help with it imo.

If we go by what we brought in the last 2 windows.....would rather we not bother.

Yep true, as I said above.

But I meant clever as in financially / the deal.

We all want some fresh legs just for something to be excited by I suppose.

Harrison is 2 footed only thing is his right foot is just for standing on have no idea why such a one footed player plays on the wrong side of the pitch and please dont say he cuts in on his left and bends 25 yarders in

Not sure there was an alternative given the cash flow issues, but no doubt you blame Thelwell

In any case, I think there's a reasonable chance Gueye stays another year, but I'd be loathe to see Doucoure stay past the end of this season

Mangala is a decent footballing centre mid, but not sure he's worth the £30m quoted - otherwise, Garner and Iroegbunum will be back and we could probably do with a couple of new faces in that area anyway - we struggle to progress the ball through midfield as a team and that's a consequence of both the tactics and the limited technical ability of our midfield as things stand

Something very amiss with what Lyon have done with this guy (Mangala). They seemed to pay an absurd loan fee, and even more absurd transfer fee, and then loan him straight out again.
