Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

We all want a goal scorer but if the 10 players behind him can’t get the ball in the box, then he’ll look as bad as all the other strikers. Need some creativity and ball players. And at least one two way fullback

Got a feeling in my bones my about his lad from Lyon.
Seems likeliest of the links so far. Textor needs cash and we know Thelwell has a track record of going back to old targets.

Only thing I could see being an issue is Textor refusing to deal with TFG out of spite. Seems enough of an idiot to do something like that.

Fwiw thought he looked an exciting player when we were linked in summer and he's actually a true left footed right winger with considerable pace (!!!)

Dare I say he looks like he's got genuine pace.

Unless we get a wiggle on, the new manager is going to have the same problems the previous few had.

Sign some full backs who can cross the half way line. Sign some pace out wide.
Player recruitment more important than the new manager for me. If we dont get some pace in attacking areas this month it will be a massive failure.

I’m sure whoever we are interested in Moyes will want a full psyc eval and then c

Its ok. We will have him lined up and ready to sign and then Moyes will veto it as he doesn’t like his personality

Sadly that's our best chance of signing him if he's injured, it's what we do. Good player but I don't think Brighton would sell unless it's for ridiculous money and from what I've saw of him he doesn't look like a natural goalscorer, we need goals and pace in our team.
If the Broja loan could be cancelled he would have been a decent replacement but as we have seen with Broja too much of a risk where we are to gamble on players with injury problems
