I thought Soucek would follow immediately. Exactly a Moyes type of player . 29, works hard, just gets on with it, HUGE, defensive but with a cracking goal tally for a def-mid of 1 in 4.5. Probably better than most of our recent attackers. Hardly a sexy signing, but “sensible”.

He's been abit of a thorn in our side when we've played them.

I'd welcome him here like.

Can't see them selling a team close to them in the league.

Don’t see that level of stand out talent in the championship right now. Bowen, Eze, Olise, Philogene, Delap all jumped out with their goal contributions. Don’t see that level of production right now sadly, but admittedly I don’t watch the championship as much as I used to. Moyes always had an eye for the lower league talents, shame we missed out on those EFL guys people were screaming for in the past couple of years due to delusions of grandeur from the top.

The talent is there, however the prices have gone up exponentially.

Palace just paid £15m for the young winger from Millwall. Rigg, Fellows are two who have been lauded on here, but they'd cost £15-£20m or so each more than likely.

I always remember Moyesie liking a strong DM that could drop back into defence to allow full backs to bomb on. Not sure Gana and Mangala fit the bill.
