He is certainly being touted as a possible signing, the £50m fee is going to put a number of clubs off, I would imagine. Perhaps if it is structured as a loan and obligation to buy we could be involved. But I think he will go to Juventus, he is on crazy money as well, £175k a week. its too high risk for us with the premier league desperate to slap us with some PSR charge. I think all our spending will be below the £25m per player mark. Any higher than that and the Premier League will be all over us.
 
it is being reported that Ajax fullback Devyne Rensch has handed in a transfer request. Roma had bid £4.2m, which was rejected by Ajax initially, now the player has handed in this transfer request it may force Ajax, his contract is up in the summer so they may want to get some money for him whilst they can. With Roma interested as well it could be very interesting, I am sure we wouldn't bid against each other, but might offer the same deal as each other to the player and let them decide.
