Ferrari played right back and was actually a good player. Gardner and Senderos were squad fillers. Heitenga played alongside Distin who was physically imperious (Heitenga won player of the year I think). Kroldrup was a rare mishap but quickly corrected and he did the right thing by not playing him.

Don't think this season even has the same regulations governing it does it?

Didn't they rewrite the PSR rules to bring them into line with EUFAs? Starting from this current financial year...

We had some terrible loans with Moyes - but then we still do now.

Did we initially loan Arteta and Pienaar ? I remember we had that trick for a while - but didnt manage to hold on to Manny Fernandes.
 
I'm quietly confident that several deals are close to being done, and they are likely to be none of the ones doing the rounds in the media.

By reports now, Dyche was told he was gone several days before it was announced and the media had zero sniff of it beforehand. That tells you that TFG like advertised before they took us I er run a very very tight ship in regards to leaks to the media, so I really don't think any of the names being linked are based on any actual information, just a reworking of past linked players and punts by journos trying to guess who we may be looking at.

Yes we did, we also loaned Yobo before buying and a fair few others too.

Funnily enough the ones we should have loaned in we bought outright and they were good awful fruit loops - AvDM, Drenthe being the biggest two.
