Full back and RW please. Might need to revisit strikers if someone decides to trigger DCL too but I imagine he leaves on a free in the summer instead.

Players with six months left on their contract can agree a free transfer to foreign clubs in six months time. DCL is such a player, and I expect him to do just that on January. I think the club that comes in for him on a free will be a big European club. Such negotiations can cause a club to accept a very low bid in January rather than lose him on a fee in July 2025.

Dumfries is in the same position at Inter; I wonder if we could maybe do a deal for him? For those that don’t think DCL is good enough for Inter, they have just paid 8 million for a 35 year old Mario Arnautovich this summer, who has a contract that ends in July 2025, just like DCL’s.
