Everton launch an approach for Timothy Weah
The Toffees are looking for attackers and have made an approach to sign Juventus winger Timothy Weah. [Calciomercato.it, 20 January]
Yeah and David’s I think.George Weah’s other cousin?
Better not...he is not that good...clearly going backwards here. At least nuamah was a young prospect. Timothy Weah is not a prospect anymore, and whilst his stats are decent this season, not sure he is what moyes called an "elite" player. Why launch? Just approach. Or better yet, just bid.

He is far from it and is actually very good but the Ipswich move has been a disaster for him so far.Looks like a competition winner that lad. Awful.
The very next line..No offence but this is still wrong. As the I article itself says:
“Financial experts predict Everton have £5m-10m in PSR headroom to play with in the next fortnight.
In theory, they could spend up to £40m because, from a PSR perspective, a player signed for £40m on a four-and-a-half year contract would go on the books as £4.5m after amortisation is taken into account.”
Down payments don’t matter. PSR & amortisation do. The 5-10m quoted actually allows at least 40m to be spent.

More of a kerfuffle purse.War chest
George Weah’s other cousin?
Mooting and joining the race...Whoa there pal, there's the mulling, pondering and contemplating stages yet.
He’s been absolutely dreadful for Ipswich. The town fans hate him. Misplaced passes, tripping over himself, missing guilt edged chances, you name it. I’m born and bred in Ipswich so was basing my comment purely on this season, not previous season’s. Let’s just say he hasn’t made an impressive start down here.He is far from it and is actually very good but the Ipswich move has been a disaster for him so far.
Well Thelwell has to work his way through his PowerPoint templates, doesn’t he?Why launch? Just approach. Or better yet, just bid.
Christ the lad is 27, I thought he was still a prospect.
I think when your full backs are as bad as ours, anything looks an improvement.
He’d be our youngest right back by about 9 years.Almost 28
