Lampard played him until he got injured. Then brought him back in when he got fit again.

I agree, an actual RM would be great, but Lindstrom had one decent game and can’t last. Coleman started as RM under Moyes as he was poor defensively, and look how that turned out.

I remember the game vs Brighton when he started and Mitoma gave up and swapped sides as he couldn’t get past him. Think we won 5:1.
I’m on about the game when they beat us 4-1 at GP.

As for Mitoma couldn’t get past him, stop making stuff up! less of the Dave mind tricks on me, I wasn’t born yesterday 😂

We need a new RB, it really is that simple.

I hope he proves me wrong though.

Everton launch an approach for Timothy Weah

The Toffees are looking for attackers and have made an approach to sign Juventus winger Timothy Weah. [Calciomercato.it, 20 January]
Mate of mine is Juventus fan. He wasn't impressed when I mentioned this link, he's highly rated. He hardly ever starts at Juve, so those 15 games he's played this season for his 5 goals are mostly playing last 20 mins off the bench. Says he's got bags of pace but he's very dynamic with it, so he's definitely suit a premier league side who play an aggressive direct style.

He literally swapped sides and played down their right.

Day 21 and again Ill log in about 40 times today to see if there is even a snippet of news that someone is coming for a medical , New owners i thought we may have had a bit of movement and i understand the manager change probably changed possible targets but it looks like another Feb 3 rush job .

Just save yourself the hassle and wait until the end of the window.

The last 15 mins just showed why you don't put Young, Keane, and Patterson on at the same time.
Jep, espescially the first 2. I could understand his plan to strenghten the defense and changes were needed, but probably we don't have the right players to go that defensively.

We needed subs and fresh legs to make as Dyche would say the hard yards on the pitch, missing Garner or Tim there certainly didn't help there, as they are also two players that can bring calmity into possession, what Doucoure despite his energy cannot at all.

Could have brought Armstrong, Harrison, Beto or Sherif in addition, quite a stretched bench.

Right and left back massive priority
Someone that can cover both, Walker Peters surely would be a decent option, then 1-2 offensive allrounder, we are still 1-2 injuries away to play Harrison or Doucoure.

CM is short atm because of injuries, but would have 4 options fully fit, that can start without a headache and Doucoure with Headache.

I still think Patterson can be rehabilitated, probably no better manager than Moyes to do so. Get him fit, get him playing, get him confident. He’s got pace and technique and can cross a ball. It’s all just down to whether positionally he’s good enough at RB. I remember the same things being said about Coleman though when he was on the wing for us under Moyes that he was too raw for right back etc.

I'd still say hold until 30th for Walker-Peters. Southampton just wanted the money - this season is a write-off - but this means no one is willing to pay a fortune for him.
I’d still like to see if we could get him before the competition to get him on a free gets heated in summer as I doubt we’d be first choice. If we could get him for £5mil (saw it touted as £7mil earlier in the window), it could go a long way to address both our full back situations. I’d probably start on either side currently. Always has good highlights in poor team performances when I watch.

All that being said, I just don’t see Southampton selling to a team around them so low. They may say f it and take the hit on the free transfer.
