This window, probably yes, longer term though I’d trust Moyes over most DOFs in terms of picking players.

I'd be inclined to agree - but what input did he have elsewhere after Everton? He's been with DoFs so it's difficult to distinguish what job he's continued to do in that respect.

Does he still have the touch?

My understanding is that he's handed the hard yards on signings to McKinlay who's judgment on new players he trusts.

Whats the attraction with McAtee? Could well be amazing but im not sure he set the lights on fire for Sheff Utd ?

Played well there, fans loved him, really bought into the club to the extent of asking to go back for a second loan. Never gave up even when they knew they were down playing in a very weak side, it shows character you can't be sure if usually with the young academy players from the massive sides.

Known about him for years as he was mentioned about 4-5 years ago on here by a city fan as one of their up and coming academy stars.

He's even got the Alan ball familial connection with Everton which for me does mean something.

But most of all he has the skill set we badly need in the side of we are ever to be more than just a bottom 12 side at best
