When you have several of those German clubs known for great scouting networks of young players and Newcastle who are also pretty good after him then it should tell you there's something about the lad

Yes, it’s unlikely. But as we saw with Chris Wood and Burnley/Newcastle, it’s not quite as unprecedented as you state. Live a little.

Burnley didn't want to lose their 1st choice centre forward, and definitely not to a relegation rival. The only reason they did was because Newcastle coughed up the £30m release clause(which was put there because they thought nobody would pay that much), and didn't have any option but to sell. Good business by the Arabs, weakening Burnley, getting a target man, for peanuts to them.
