Am not buying it...I wouldn't pay any attention to what comes out that Romano's gob these.

He's just a mouthpiece for clubs and agents who want to drum up interest in players.

They’re playing a lot of young players. Think they’re a pull. Not too far from Southampton either. Can’t see him in Germany given how homesick he got simply moving to Chelsea.

following that - if he had a bad time in london and got homesick (London is a totally different experience to living in Southampton obvs), then he might be reticent to move to another London club, no? Liverpool is more like Southampton (costal city, less than 5m people etc etc) in that respect.

I don't think he's going anywhere at any rate, not this window.

Also - spurs are only playing the kids because they're missing 12 players through injury.

With all due respect to Ipswich its funny how we seem to miss out on these guys and then they end up at the yo-yo clubs.

I suppose occams razor says we were never in for him.

Doubt we were really. If he had been a RW maybe, but with McNeil already a very one footed LW, we didn’t need another one.

…..wasn’t overly impressed with Dewsbury-Hall against Wolves. Looks another Chelsea have wasted monies on.

Fair. He's not elite by any stretch but he's one of not many available players who plays on the half turn and can pass forward. His ability to play quickly is something we're massively missing. I also think he's exactly the kind of player Moyes would like/could use well. I think it's been difficult for him in and out of Chelsea, he doesn't really have a role there and it's one position they're very stacked in.

He's barely played all season - bit of a tough gig to come in and shine after 60 minutes of league football since he joined them.
