Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

This guy is funny.

He was interviewed recently and said he's alone in Rome, therefore he's thinking about buying a dog. 😅

I felt sorry for him when I read it. He must be really really shy.

Rome is perhaps the world capital of hedonism. Even I, as a pennyless university student, happened to be involved in parties with people from every corner of the world.

You are there, alone, with a massive amount of money to spare.

"Let's buy a dog". 😂

Jokes aside, he's a good guy.
I like you

….not impressed by him for Chelsea, looks another they’ve paid way over the odds for. Doesn’t look like we’ll have a loan space for him anyway.

Expensive misfit on big bucks for however long his contract lasts.
I’d have to disagree. KDH hasn’t really been given a proper chance at Chelsea yet, and his stats back up that he’s far from an expensive misfit. In the Championship, he put up 12 goals and 14 assists in 44 games for Leicester, which is better than Olise’s 7 goals and 12 assists at Reading and comparable to Eze’s 14 goals and 8 assists at QPR. Both Olise and Eze become key Premier League players, but they also needed time to adapt and develop at this level. There’s no reason why KDH can’t do the same.

…so, I presume unless the Broja situation changes we’re not bringing in another domestic loan, so the 2 Chelsea lads are confined to the bin.

Not exactly sure whether we can loan anybody from abroad but it looks like we’re now having to actually buy footballers on permanent deals within a cost envelope. That’s a challenge.

I think you can loan 6 in total iirc

Come on on their last two games before today, scoring in one of them pal.

Yup he indeed did, their new 70m quid player started today though so guess DeBruyne was a better sub choice 😂

About half his minutes this season came in that Ipswich game when they were already 5-0 up. But yeah at 2-2 pep gave him 3 minutes Vs Brentford the week before.

Errrm KDH is 26 mate, how old will he be when he finally adapts 😂

Chelsea have us over a barrel with Broja unfortunately. The real problem was the awful decision to bring Harrison back.

Yeah noticeable that the last two games Moyes took off both starting wide players and Harrison didn't get on in either, today he took off both wide and the number ten and still kept Harrison off.

Wonder if Leeds would take him back if we agreed to cover his wages still?

Think it's 8 loans in a year, no more than 4 can be domestic ones, and of those can't have more than two domestic at any one time, think there's a restriction on the amount you can have in any match day squad as well.

In theory I think we can loan 4 more from abroad - if we don't cancel and reuse a domestic one ofc.

They are doing OK for wingers but surely they wouldn't turn down a free player to help push them towards promotion, you just never know if he could supply the goal worth 100m. I don't know why they'd say no. It would be costly but given where he sits now in the pecking order we should surely consider it.

Was saying it to my brother the other night mate, Harrison is beyond useless under Moyes, were paying him anyway, Leeds may actually have used for him, throw them half a million if needed just get shut
