They also need to think of what to do with him beyond this season, dropping back down to the championship might give him more confidence and/or make him more easily sellable than rotting on a PL bench. Like you say, if we're paying him either way it's an option we should consider.

Nothing against him, he works his knackers off, but I do hope we don't sign him, 80k p/w is ridiculous.

Too much gaming chatter here, surely Defcon-1 which incidentally stands for Defence Condition 1. After today I would say that our Defence condition was pretty good.

I'd say our Defence condition is shrinking quite a bit too much, two more injuries are making our already putting our smallish squad in the spotlight. Still rather we got the right targets though.

This guy is funny.

He was interviewed recently and said he's alone in Rome, therefore he's thinking about buying a dog.

I felt sorry for him when I read it. He must be really really shy.
